Francisco Bautista

Francisco Bautista (Francisco Bautista Cuamatzi; born September 17, 1972 in Contla de Juan Cuamatzi, State of Tlaxcala ) is a Mexican marathon runner.

In the World Half Marathon Championships in 1999 in Palermo, he came on the 87th Place. The following year he was fifth at Maratón de la Comarca Lagunera and eighth in the Milan City Marathon. He was sixth in the comarca Lagunera, Central America / Caribbean - runner in the half marathon in 2001, finished at the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton rank 66 and won the Monterrey Marathon.

In 2002, he won as well as the following year as overall winner of the Maratón de la Comarca Lagunera the Mexican league titles, and in 2003 he was ninth in Milan. A fourth place in the comarca Lagunera followed in 2004, 2005, another victory in Monterrey. In 2007 he was third in the Comarca Lagunera, eighth in the marathon in the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and arrived at the Road Race World Championships in Udine on the 64th Place.

At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, for which he was nominated as substitutes, he ran at No. 66. In 2009, he was sixth in the comarca Lagunera.
