Francisco Gabriel de Anda

José Francisco Gabriel de Anda ( born June 5, 1971 in Mexico City) is a former Mexican football player at the position of the defender. He is currently director of sport at its Exverein CF Pachuca.

Life

Association

Gabriel de Anda began his professional career in the 1992/93 season the Club Universidad Nacional and came across the Correcaminos de la UAT, for whom he played between 1993 and 1995, for Club Santos Laguna, with whom he won the Mexican championship in the winter of 1996.

After a stopover at Cruz Azul, for whom he played between 1998 and 2000, Gabriel de Anda was from mid- 2000 until late 2005 when CF Pachuca under contract, with whom he won two more championship titles. At the end of his playing career, he played again for his Exverein Santos Laguna.

National

His debut in the dress of the Mexican national was Gabriel de Anda on April 13, 1997 at 6-0 win against Jamaica. Gabriel was used for Mexico in the FIFA Confederations Cup 1997 in games against Australia and Brazil. Eighteen months later was interrupted for several years with the game of 18 November 1998 against Guatemala (2-2 ) on his international career. The only goal in the first period of its affiliation with the national team, he scored on 18 March 1998 against Paraguay to a 1-1 draw.

He was appointed again to the national team in 2002 and played four games. In this case the winning goal to make it 1-0 against Bulgaria he succeeded on 17 April 2002. His last international match played Gabriel de Anda on 12 May 2002 in a 2-1 win against Colombia.

Although he was also appointed to the Mexican World Cup squad in 2002, remained there but without using.
