Francisco Goitia
Francisco Goitia ( born October 4, 1882 in Zacatecas, † March 26, 1960 in Mexico City) was a Mexican painter.
He first studied at the Academia de San Carlos, spent four years studying in Barcelona with Francisco Galli and another four years in Italy. In 1912 he returns to Mexico back to his hometown of Zacatecas. Goitia takes part in revolutionary struggle under General Felipe Angeles. Around this time, he created two images Revolution 1916 " Baile de la revolution " and a year later the pastel " Al ahorca ".
