Francisco Javier RamÃrez Acuña
Francisco Javier Ramírez Acuña ( born April 22, 1952 in Jamay, Mexico) is a Mexican politician of the Partido Acción Nacional ( PAN).
Life
Ramírez Acuña studied law at the Universidad de Guadalajara. He is a member of the PAN since 1969. In 1974 he was elected deputy of the State of Jalisco and re-elected in 1980. Between 1998 and 2000 he was mayor of Guadalajara and then governor of the state of Jalisco (2000-2006 ).
Under President Felipe Calderón Ramírez Acuña Secretario de Gobernación (2006-2008). 2009/2010 he was President of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies.
