Franck Proust

Franck Proust ( born 2 May 1963 in Poitiers ) is a French politician of the Union pour un mouvement populaire (UMP ) and Member of the European Parliament.

Life

Proust studied until 1984, and management was after his studies as an insurance agent working at the Axa. He graduated in 1985 postgraduate studies in Marketing and is a graduate of the Center for Marketing Studies and Research ( CEREM ) at the University of Auvergne Clermont- Ferrand I.

His political career began in 1989 as assistant to the mayor of Nîmes. Between 1995 and 2001, he was then councilor of the city. When Jean -Paul Fournier was elected in March 2001, the mayor of Nimes, Proust became the Vice President of the Association of Municipalities Communauté d' agglomà Nîmes Métropole. Between 2004 and 2011, Proust General was in the department of Gard of the Canton of Nîmes - fifth Since June 23, 2011 he is Member of the European Parliament. In 2012 he joined the department of Gard in the parliamentary elections, but failed because of the Green Christophe CAVARD.

Franck Proust, who also worked as an ombudsman, is Freemason and a member of the Grande Loge de France.
