François II de Tournon CRSA (* 1489 in Tournon -sur -Rhône, † April 22, 1562 in Saint- Germain -en- Laye ) was a French cleric. He was, among others, from 1551 Archbishop of Lyon. His parents were Jacques de Tournon and Jeanne de Polignac.

In addition to his ecclesiastical office he was appointed by King Henry II in various diplomatic missions abroad. François de Tournon is also the builder of the castle in Roussillon.

He was temporarily buried in Saint- Germain -en- Laye, where he died. Later, his body was transferred to the chapel of the Collège de Tournon, which he had founded in 1536. The College is now known as the Lycée Gabriel Faure, before a bronze statue of François de Tournon was set up.
