Frank Beaurepaire

Francis Joseph Edmund "Frank" Beaurepaire ( born May 13, 1891 in Melbourne, † May 29, 1956 ) was an Australian swimmer. He was active until the 1920s and won from 1908 to 1924 at three Olympic Games, except for the 1912, he participated at all in this part time, three silver and three bronze medals. He also swam 15 world records. After his playing days he became a successful politician and entrepreneur. He was for ten years a member of parliament in the state parliament of the Australian state of Victoria and Mayor of Melbourne.
