Frank Carillo

Frank Carillo (* July 14, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American guitarist, singer and rock musician.

Biography

Frank Carillo is regarded as musician 's musician. Since 2004, the band Frank Carillo & the Bandoleros.

First recordings made ​​Carillo for Peter Frampton and his LPs Wind Of Change (1972) and Frampton 's Camel (1973). In 1973, Carillo in England, the band Doc Holliday ( not to be confused with the U.S. band of the same name). The eponymous LP was produced by Chris Kimsey. The first solo album was released in 1978. Subsequently, Carillo worked, among others, along with Yvonne Elliman as well as Carly Simon, Joan Jett and Twiggy, for which he also wrote songs.

Carillo toured the U.S. as opening act, among other things Cheap Trick, Bad Company, Tom Petty, J. Geils Band or Van Halen. 1990, it came under the name Golden Carillo for collaboration with the singer Annie Golden. The duo released three LPs, of which the first two were successful in Europe. The song " Waiting For Someone" by A. Golden and F. Carillo was for the soundtrack of the film "Body Switch - A Haunted Kisses " (1992 ) is used.

The LP Toxic Emotion by Golden Carillo was in the studio of George Kooymans ( Golden Earring) was added.
