Frank Engel (politician)

Frank Engel ( born May 10, 1975 in Luxembourg ) is a politician from Luxembourg. Angel is a member of the Christian Social Party (CSV ) in Luxembourg and the European People's Party in the European Parliament.

Life

After his schooling at the Gymnasium Diekirch 1987-1994 Engel studied law at the University of Brussels and Metz and graduated in 1998. Afterwards Angel worked as an assistant for the politician Jacques Santer in Euro Parliament from December 1999 to June 2001.

Policy

Since 2009, Angel is member of the European Parliament for the CSV and belongs to the European Parliament the EPP.

Angel is a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, the Delegation for relations with the Pan-African Parliament and the Delegation to the ACP -EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. As deputy angel, Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection, working in the Special Committee on organized crime, corruption and money laundering and the Delegation for relations with the Korean Peninsula.

In addition to his work in the European Parliament Frank Engel since 2006 Honorary Consul of Armenia in Luxembourg and has written an article in 2013 published book about the Bergkarbachkonflikt: "The Karabakh dilemma: Right to Self-Determination, imperatives of territorial integrity, or a Caucasian New Deal? " in "Europe 's Next Avoidable War: Nagorno- Karabakh ".

Frank Engel has also written three books on Europe and the financial and Demokatriekrise in which he is looking for ways to strengthen the Union again, and finally to lead Europe out of the protracted crisis.
