Frank Gore

Frank Gore ( born May 14, 1983 in Coconut Grove, Florida) is an American professional American football player in the position of running backs. He plays with the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League ( NFL).

Gore was taken in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft from the University of Miami in 2005 with the 49ers. His breakthrough came in the 2006 season when he led the National Football Conference ( NFC) with 1,695 yards rushing. This team record he set also still 485 yards by pass catches on top of it, so he set another team record with 2,180 yards from the line of scrimmage. This season, he was also elected to the Pro Bowl.
