Frank John Hughes

Frank John Hughes ( born November 11, 1967 in New York City, New York ) is an American actor. It was for his roles as " Wild Bill " Guarnere in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers - Band of Brothers and Tom Fox in Catch Me If You Can known.

Life and work

Frank John Hughes studied Jazz composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, before he gave in 1991 his debut in front of the camera in Robert Celestino's True Convictions. Followed by appearances in films such as Lonely in America, The Funeral - The Funeral, Layin 'Low, Mr. Vincent, Urban Jungle and Steven Spielberg's film Catch Me If You Can. For his performance in Anacardium ( 2000), he won the " Best Actor " award at the New York Film Festival. Hughes works with in numerous television series, as well as in The Sopranos, 24, Law & Order, Monk, Boomtown and Without a Trace - Without a trace.

Soon Frank John Hughes will be on display alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in Righteous Kill.

Large international recognition brought him above all his role in Band of Brothers - We were a like brothers. In it, he embodies the World War II veteran William " Wild Bill " Guarnere, sergeant of Easy Company, 101st Airborne Division. It dealt intensively with whose biography apart, led hour-long telephone conversations with William Guarnere and appropriated to his dialect. In "Wild Bill" Guarneres autobiography " Brothers in Battle, Best of Friends" Frank Hughes wrote the epilogue of the book about his experiences, which he had made during the filming.
