Frank Kleber

Frank Kleber ( born February 11, 1981 in Graefelfing ) is a German skeleton bob.

Career

Frank adhesive is a qualified tiler and works in the family business. The athlete from BSC Munich is active Skeleton pilot since 1988. He came even as a six year old to the sport because his father Franz glue multiple German Champion was in this sport. His World Cup debut came in 1999 as 28th in Igls. 2001 in Nagano, he came in ninth place for the first time in the top ten. His best ever finish was a second place in Sigulda. In the World Cup he was in 2003 /04 and Third 2004/ 05 seventh.

Already at Junior World Championships in 2003, he could win the title. In Senior World Championships he won bronze in 2004 in Koenigssee, 2007 in St. Moritz, he finished tenth. In European Championships 2004 adhesive was fourth and won the 2005 silver. For the Olympic Games, he was able to qualify in 2002 and finished eleventh.

2003 adhesive junior champion, at senior level, he was in 2001, 2004 and 2005 runner-up and 2002, 2003 and 2006 he finished third. In 2007 he was in a team with Kiriasis, Berit Wiacker, Monique Rieke Forest, Karl Angerer and Marc Kühne champion inaugural team competition of the Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup. After the 2006/ 07 season glue ended his active career.
