Frank Sauerbrey

Frank is a former German ski jumper Sauerbrey.

December 30, 1984 in Oberstdorf Sauerbrey gave his debut in the World Cup Ski Jumping. He finished jumping on the 26th place. Also in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, he only reached the 29th place. In Innsbruck he could jump with space 10 for the first time in the World Cup points on 4 January 1985. At the end of the season he lay with 6 World Cup points at No. 53 in the World Cup overall standings. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1985 in Seefeld in Tirol, he won the team competition with Manfred Deckert, Klaus Ostwald and Jens Weißflog the bronze medal behind the teams from Finland and Austria. After the World Cup, it was quiet around Sauerbrey. It was only on 12 January 1986, he jumped again in Liberec in the World Cup and won with a 15th place World Cup point. On January 17, 1986, he finished with a 13th place while jumping in Klingenthal his active ski jumping career.
