Frans van Mieris the Younger

Frans van Mieris the Younger ( * November 24, 1689 in Leiden, † October 22, 1763 in Leiden ) was a Dutch genre and portrait painter and etcher. He went with his father Willem van Mieris, a son of the famous Frans van Mieris the Elder, in the doctrine. He sat, like his father and grandfather, the tradition of consistently justified by Gerard Dou Leyden fine painting continued.
