František Jakubec

František Jakubec ( born April 12, 1956 in Český Brod ) is a former Czech football player. He participated in the 1982 World Cup and played between 1981 and 1984 25 caps for Czechoslovakia.

Career

František Jakubec played in his youth for Sokol Vyšehořovice and FC Bohemians Prague. The defender moved in 1976 to VTJ Karlovy Vary to do his two-year military service in 1978 and returned back to Prague.

In the following years, the full-back was mostly to starting at Bohemians. His good performances in the league brought him in 1981 to convene in the Czechoslovak national one, as the consideration for the World Cup 1982.

With Bohemians Prague Jakubec 1983 Czechoslovakian champion. In early 1987, moved to Greek club AO Jakubec Veria. After only six, he was obliged by the Swiss club AC Bellinzona, for whom he played for two years.

For the 1989/90 season he returned to Bohemians Prague and graduated five games for the Green-Whites.

After his playing career Jakubec was for many years head of the youth department at Bohemians.
