Frazier Ridge

Frazier Ridge is a steep ridge on the west side of Webster glacier in the Founders peaks belonging to the West Antarctic Heritage Range. It extends from north-north - east to south-south -west from Minnesota Glacier in the north to the terrain level Founders Escarpment in the south. In the middle part of the ridge is the striking rocky peaks Muir Peak. About 2 miles to the west lies the parallel Smith Ridge.

A geological expedition of the University of Minnesota, who explored the area 1963/64, Frazier Ridge named after Sergeant Herbert J. Frazier, a radio operator of the 62nd Transportation Detachment, who had helped the expedition.
