Fred Stolle

Fred Stolle Frederick Sydney ( born October 8, 1938 in Hornsby, Sydney ) is an Australian former tennis player.

He won in his career, the men's singles at the French Open in 1965 and U.S. Open 1966. The title at the Australian Championships in Wimbledon and he could never win, although he was twice at the Australian Open and three times at the UK Championships in the final.

In doubles, he was even more successful than in singles. He won three times the Australian Open, Wimbledon twice, twice the French Open three times and the U.S. Open. In Mixed he was victorious five times in Grand Slam tournaments.

With the Australian team, he won from 1964 to 1966 the Davis Cup.
