Freddy Koch

Freddy Koch ( born March 21, 1916 in Copenhagen, † August 10 1980 in Denmark) was a Danish film and stage actor and theater director.

Biography

Freddy Koch was the son of Karl Koch ( † 1943) and his wife Oda Douwe Egberts († 1938) and grew up in Copenhagen. He made after finishing school, a drama training at the School of Det Kongelige Teater and was then engaged in various private theaters. He then worked for over thirty years at Folketeatret, where he later worked as a theater director. From 1971 he was rector of the Aarhus Teaterskole and from 1976 he was at Aalborg Theatre operates. Koch was active until his death as a stage actor and director. In addition, he also worked as a film actor in several films and television series. In the Danish film series of the Olsen Gang he had including several appearances. Also in the Norwegian Olsenbande he played in Olsenbandens siste bedrifter, a remake of the film The (probably ) last match of the Olsen Gang, the same role as the Swiss liaison, Mr. Hofer brick again.

Private

Chef lived from 1953 for several years with the Danish actress Birgitte Federspiel together. After his death he was buried in the Tibirke Kirkegård ( Tibirke Cemetery ) in Tisvilde on Zealand ( Nordsjælland ).
