Birgitte Federspiel
Birgitte Federspiel ( born September 6, 1925 in Copenhagen, † February 2nd 2005 in Odense) was a Danish actress.
Career
The daughter of actor Ejner Federspiel attended from 1943 to 1945 an acting training at the theater in Frederiksberg. In 1945, she debuted at the Betty Nansen Teatret (then Allé scenes ) in Frederiksberg; 1945 to 1947 she was engaged at the city theater in Odense. She then moved to the stages of the Danish capital, she was a member of the ensemble of Det Ny Teater and Folketeatret. In 1979 she again played in Odense.
Birgitte Federspiel was also active on the screen. In 1987 she played in the Oscar-winning Danish- French film Babette's Feast starred as abstemious minister's daughter Martina.
She was buried at the cemetery assistance in Odense.
