Freddy Milton

Freddy Milton Larsen ( born April 18, 1948 in Viborg, Denmark ) is a Danish cartoonist and comic book writer.

Biography

Milton was originally a teacher. His professional career as a comic book author and illustrator, he began in 1972, when he and his brother Ingo Milton their zenith comics in the Danish newspaper published as a daily crime Strip Jyllands-Posten.

Milton began in 1974 for the Danish Disney fanzine Carl Barks & Co. to write posts and to draw Disney characters, intended for assessment to the Donald Duck comic book writer and illustrator Carl Barks. Already in the following year he began as a comic book writer, scenarios and stories about Donald Duck for the Dutch publisher Oberon to design and write. In the further course wrote and drew several times for Disney.

Milton was originally supposed to also design the first comic to Olsenbande for Danish publisher Interpresse. A draft on the topic was published in the Danish comic magazine Kulørte Sider, but ultimately opted for the Danish artist Otto Frello. Frello created a comic book to the fourth Olsen movie The Olsen Gang and their major coup and Milton took over only the hand lettering so. In the German edition of this comic album some of his previous draft and two finished pages were published in German by Milton Olsen Gang comic in the Appendix.

Milton recorded in the 1980s, a comic album to Woody Woodpecker (Danish: Søren Spætte ) and published his own series with the dragon family Gnuff. From 1992 to 2000 Milton appeared great album series to the comic Decalogue over Janteloven.

Since 2001 released six albums to the comic series Jomsvikingerne ( The Jomswinkingerer ).
