Frederick Chien

Frederick Chien (Chinese钱 复, pinyin Qian Fu, W.-G. Chien Foo; born February 17, 1935 in Hangzhou, Republic of China) is a Chinese politician of the Kuomintang.

Life

Chien graduated from the National Taiwan University and Yale University. From June 1 1990 to June 10, 1996 Chien was the successor of Lien Chan Foreign Minister of Taiwan. He was succeeded by John Chiang in this office.
