Frederick Christian, Count of Schaumburg-Lippe
Friedrich Christian of Schaumburg -Lippe ( born August 16, 1655 in Biickeburg, † June 13, 1728 ibid ) is the founder of the older house of Schaumburg-Lippe and reigning Count the County of Schaumburg-Lippe.
Life
Friedrich Christian was from 1681 until his death in 1728 the ruler of the county of Schaumburg -Lippe in what is now Lower Saxony. He was the son of Count Philip I of Schaumburg -Lippe and his wife Sophie of Hesse- Kassel.
Progeny
On January 4, 1691 he married in Langenburg Johanna Sophie zu Hohenlohe -Langenburg ( 1673-1743 ), daughter of Count Heinrich Friedrich zu Hohenlohe -Langenburg and his wife Juliane Dorothea of Castell- Remlingen. The marriage was divorced in 1723.

His second wife he married on December 3, 1725 in Brixen (South Tyrol ) Maria Anna Victoria of Gall, daughter of Baron Johann Michael von Gall and his wife Maria Anna of Enzenburg.
