Frederick Onyancha

Frederick Onyancha (Frederick Momanyi "Fred" Onyancha; born December 25, 1969 in Nyamira, Nyanza Province ) is a former Kenyan middle distance runner who specialized track was the 800 -meter run.

In 1995 he finished fourth in the Pan-African Games. In 1996 he won at the African Championships in Yaoundé gold. The greatest success of his career, he celebrated shortly after at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, when he was in a personal best of 1:42,79 minutes behind Norwegian Vebjørn Rodal and the South Africans Ezekiel Sepeng won the bronze medal. This time Onyancha occupied at the time the eighth rank in the eternal world leaderboard.

At the World Athletics Championships in 1999 in Seville, he left in the flow.

Frederick Onyancha is 1,70 m tall and weighed 64 kg to his playing days.
