Free Talk Live

Free Talk Live is a transmitter- independent US-based call-in talk radio show, which is produced since 2002.

Concept

Listeners can call by phone or Skype and basically comment on any topic on which they wish to speak straight to Free Talk Live. Comment or debate the expressions of listeners with each other and with these the moderators. When political issues, the moderators occupy a libertarian or anarchist point of view.

Transmission

The live broadcast is transmitted in the U.S. and North America by 115 radio stations (113 Radio, TV 2 ) and four satellite channels, as well as the world's Internet stream. Past shows are available in MP3 format for download as a podcast.

The broadcast studio is located since 2006 in Keene, New Hampshire, after the moderators had moved as part of the Free State Project of Sarasota, Florida.

Financing

Free Talk Live finances its operating and personnel costs exclusively from voluntary donations, such as advertising revenue and donations of listeners in the framework of the " Advertise, Market, Promote and " ( AMP). Through AMP around 3,200 U.S. dollars are taken per month, which will only be issued for the application of the broadcast in other media and similar purposes.

Free Talk Live will also accept Bitcoin donations.

The focus of Free Talk Live are the caller and their topics. Guests are therefore rarely invited. Some of these guests were:

  • Ron Paul, politician and presidential candidate
  • Glenn Thomas Jacobs, as " Kane" known wrestler
  • Doug Stanhope, comedian
  • Aubrey de Grey, bioinformatics and theoretical biogerontologist
  • Cindy Sheehan, peace activist
