The Fremont Pass is a mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains. It is located in the west of the U.S. state of Colorado on the border of counties Summit County and Lake County. It was named after its discoverer pass John Charles Fremont, who took the pass in the 1840s.

About the Pass leads the Continental Divide.

Directly northeast of the pass there is a large open pit molybdenum mine. The mine has been shut down since 1995 because of the reduction of the ore at the current world market prices is not profitable.
