Liebig's ideas on the application of chemistry to physiology and agriculture complemented with leather Roch interest in biology. After completing his training, he spent several months in Paris and London. After his return in 1845 appointed Minister Graf Stadion him professor of technical chemistry at the newly established Technical Academy in Lviv. Since 1848 he was a full member of the Academy of Sciences in Vienna.
