Friends of Syria Group

Group of Friends of the Syrian people, even friends of a Democratic Syria and the people of Syria (French Conférence internationale des amis de la Syrie, Turkish Suriye Halkının Dostlari Grubu ) is called an international Contact Group of States and entities in 2012 on the occasion of civil war in Syria was established and the Syrian National Council and Free Syrian Army stands near her.

Activities

The formation of the group was initiated by the then French President Nicolas Sarkozy in early February, 2012.

The conference in Marrakesh on 12 December 2012, attended by delegates from 114 countries. At the conference in 2013 only ambassadors were present from 11 states. These states were:
