Fujisawa Shu

Shuu Fujisawa (藤 沢 周jap, Fujisawa Shuu; born January 10, 1959 in Niigata Prefecture ) is a Japanese writer.

Fujisawa studied Japanese literature at Hosei University, where he also taught from 2004. Since 1996 he works as an editor for the Tosho Shimbun. In 1993 he made ​​his debut as a writer with the novel ZON where hidari ni Magare. After three nominations for the Akutagawa Prize (1995, 1996 and 1997 ) and four nominations for the Noma Literary Prize 1998 he was awarded the Akutagawa Prize for the novel Buenos Aires gozen Reiji.
