Full Dark, No Stars

Between Night and darkness (English title " Full Dark, No Stars ", literally: Absolute darkness, no stars ) is after spring, summer, autumn and death and night / Langoliers the third collection of short stories of the U.S. author Stephen King. She appeared as an original audiobook on 29 October 2010; the book editions followed on 9 ( U.S.) or publisher dependent between 8 and 15 November ( Germany ).

The four novellas (one of which is, however, strictly speaking, a short story) are loosely connected by the theme of revenge and are symmetrically arranged: Short Stories 1 and 3 are written from a man's point of view and treat supernatural themes; Amendments 2 and 4 have women as central characters and have no supernatural elements.   • The British publisher Hodder & Stoughton wanted to go to the overwhelming success with Kings Under the Dome ( German: The Arena ) now follow suit with this collection, which purports to be a deliberate contrast to the mammoth novel.
  • The collection appeared before the hardcover edition as an audio book. This is a much abbreviated version, even if ( " unabridged " ) is to be read on the cover " unabridged ".
