Fulshear is a city in Fort Bend County in the U.S. state of Texas in the United States.

Geography

The city is located in the north of the county, in southeast Texas, 10 km west of Houston, is located about 90 km from the Gulf of Mexico and has a total area of 21.2 km ² without significant water surface.

History

Was named the place after Churchill Fulshear, a member of Stephen F. Austin's Old Three Hundred.

Demographic data

According to the census of 2000, there were 716 people in 251 households and 192 families. The population density was 33.9 inhabitants per km ².
