Fuminori Nakamura

Fuminori Nakamura (Japanese中 村 文 则, Fuminori Nakamura; born September 2, 1977) is a Japanese writer.

Nakamura joined in 2000 to study at the university from Fukushima. In 2002 he received the Shincho Young Investigator Award for his debut novel. In 2004, he was honored for Shako with the Noma Literary Prize, in the following year for Tsuchi no naka no kodomo the Akutagawa Prize. The novel Suri, for the Ōe - Kenzaburo Prize he received in 2010, appeared in English translation under the title The Thief.
