Fumio Watanabe

Fumio Watanabe (Japanese渡 辺 文 雄, Fumio Watanabe, born October 31, 1929 in Tokyo, † August 4, 2004 ) was a Japanese actor.

Life

After studying at the University of Tokyo, he started his film career in 1956 in the studio Shochiku. From this time until 2001 he starred in over 80 films and television series, including the first two films of the Sasori series with Meiko Kaji, in which he played the sadistic warden Goda. He also starred in commercials Kikkoman and Taiho with.

He was a friend of Clive Williams Nicol.

In 2004, he died of liver cancer.
