Further Seems Forever

Further Seems Forever is an Alternative-Rock-/Emo-Band founded in Florida in 1998. In 2006 the band released their resolution known. Since August 2010 there is a reunion of the original members.

Band History

The group was founded in 1998 by members of the just -resolved Christian hardcore band Strongarm in Pompano Beach. As a singer, Chris Carrabba was added fetched, who had previously been active in a band called The Vacant Andys. The first releases of the band in 1999 as a sampler post on the Deep Elm compilation Emo Diaries IV and EP From the 27th State, the [now: Fast Friday ] at Take Hold Records appeared.

With The Moon is Down followed in 2001 the first album, which was released as the two s successor at Tooth & Nail. In the same year singer Carrabba left the band to concentrate on his band started as a solo project Dashboard Confessional. He was replaced by Jason Gleason; addition of guitarist Nick Dominguez had to be replaced, for him came Derick Cordoba in the band. With this lineup the album How to Start a Fire was recorded in 2003, with which the group reached number 133 of the U.S. album charts. The following year, the band split in dispute during the recording sessions for the third album by Gleason, who was replaced by Jon Bunch of Sense Field of the group. With this, the album was finally recorded, the Hide Nothing titled work was also placed as its predecessor in the U.S. charts, where it got up to rank 122. On 17 June 2006, the band played their last concert for the time being in Atlanta.

On 24 August 2011, the band via video announced that for 2011 a reunion is planned in the original cast. The first performance took place at the Belgian Groezrock Festival, where Dashboard Confessional has occurred.
