Future Games (video game developer)
Future Games was a producer and publisher of computer games based in Beroun, Czech Republic. The company was founded in 1996 by Martin Malik because it found no sales for a book written by him game. 1999, the corporate form has been changed to " sro ", comparable to the German GmbH. From this point on distribution partnerships were established in order to market the self-produced games internationally can. Future Games specialized in Adventures and reached sales figures of up to 750,000 pieces per game. As of 2005, the division was expanded - in addition to the development of computer games and titles from other producers were exclusively distributed in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, evidence of a role playing game for Nightwatch novel series. Alter Ego, the last game of Future Games, was not a financial success. Therefore, the company ran into financial trouble and was forced to close in 2011.
