Future of the Past is the third studio album by the Polish death metal band Vader.
Genesis
The sales took place in Poland on Koch International, the rest of Europe about System Shock, a sub- label of Impact Records in the U.S. via Century Media and Marquee / Avalon in Japan and Asia.
Guest musicians acted Grzegorz Skawiński (guitar solo on Black Sabbath ) and Cezary " Cezar " Augustynowicz ( singing with Flag of Hate ). Cezary Augustynowicz is lead singer of the death metal band Christ Agony, by Grzegorz Skawiński played in the Polish hard rock band wagon.
Background
For all the album's songs are cover versions of bands that have influenced Vader in a special way. The song I Feel You Depeche Mode has already been published on the limited special edition of the previous album De Profundis. Also the song Black Sabbath had already been published previously, it appeared on the EP Sothis. The album is the second published by Vader version of a Slayer song. Already on the live album The Darkest Age they covered Hell Awaits. The band Terrorizer is gecovert twice.
