Fyodor Alexandrovich Vasilyev (Russian Фёдор Александрович Васильев, scientific transliteration Fedor Alexandrovich Vasil'ev, . * 10 Februarjul / February 22 1850greg in Gatchina, .. . † 24 Septemberjul / October 6 1873greg in Yalta ) was a Russian painter. His evocative landscapes are among the most important of the Russian landscape painting in the 19th century. Vasilyev died 23 years old from tuberculosis.
