Gabriel Rodrigues dos Santos

Gabriel Rodrigues dos Santos called Gabriel ( born June 5, 1981 in São Paulo, Brazil ) is a Brazilian footballer who plays on the right side of defense.

Gabriel began his professional career in 2001 with the Brazilian club Sao Paulo where tradition was a four-year contract. 2005 Gilberto moved to Fluminense Rio de Janeiro, where he would win two titles and the superior defender for a rate of 24 goals in 65 games could produce. In August of the same year for the first time Gabriel moved to Europe to FC Málaga in Spain. After adjustment problems and only 17 inserts Gabriel returned after just one season back in his homeland. In 2008 he moved again to Europe and signed with the Greek club Panathinaikos, a four-year contract.

His debut in the Brazilian national team gave Gabriel 2005. Previously he came along only a single international match.
