Gabriele Gatti

Gabriele Gatti ( born March 27, 1953 in San Marino) is a politician from San Marino. He was from October 1, 2011 to April 1, 2012, together with Matteo Fiorini Capitano Reggente (Head of State ) of San Marino.

Life

Gatti has a degree in humanities and philosophy at the University of Urbino. He is a member of the Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese since 1974. From 1975 to 1985 he was deputy secretary, in 1987 he became Secretary General in 2002 and president of the Central Council. Gatti was the first time in 1978 in the Consiglio Grande e Generale, the parliament of San Marino elected, of which he is a member since then. In 2006 he was Chairman of the Group in the Consiglio Grande e Generale PDCS. He was a member of several parliamentary committees, including the Committees on the social and urban development, the financial and the Judiciary Committee. From 1986 to 2002 he was Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Finance from 2008 to 2010. He was elected for the period from 1 October 2011 to April 1, 2012, together with Matteo Fiorini to Capitano Reggente the head of state of San Marino.
