Gabrielle (singer)

Gabrielle (* April 16, 1970 in London as Louise Gabrielle Bobb ) is a British singer.

Musical career

Their first single Dreams was established in June 1993, a No. 1 hit in the UK charts. Your second No. 1 hit the singer had with Rise (2000), which included a sample of the Bob Dylan classic Knockin 'on Heaven 's Door. Dreams and Rise were also in Germany to their most successful titles.

Other successful singles were from her second album Give Me a Little More Time (1996 ), If You Ever (1996, a duet with British band East 17 ) and written by Burt Bacharach Walk On By (1997). By Out of Reach (2001), the singer also contributed a song to the soundtrack of the film Bridget Jones - in chocolate for breakfast.

Private

Due to an error of the right eye Gabrielle wore early in her career an eye patch, today she usually wears dark glasses.
