Gagik I of Vaspurakan

Gagik I. (* 904, † 937) was an Armenian prince and later king of Vaspurakan of the dynasty of Artsruni.

He turned his capital in Achtamar, an island in Lake Van. The palace chapel, the Church of the Holy Cross has been preserved until today.
