Gail Kopplin

Gail F. Kopplin ( born May 20, 1939 in Sterling, Nebraska ) is an American politician and school board.

Kopplin studied at Peru State College ( Bachelor of Education ) and the University of Nebraska- Lincoln ( Master of Education ). After graduating in 1968, he entered the school system of the city of Gretna. He began as a primary school teacher and has held various positions in school administration Gretnas in the following years. From 1985 was Kopplin Oberschulrat (Super indene Dent ) for the School District Gretna, this office he held for fourteen years.

In addition to his actual profession Gail Kopplin was active in various committees such as the Chamber of Commerce Gretna, or the Nebraska Association of School Administrators. In 2004 he stood as a candidate in the 3rd constituency for a seat in Parliament from Nebraska. He defeated incumbent Ray Mossey with 62.28 % of votes. Kopplin was from 2005 until the end of 2008 State Senator, re-election he failed. In November 2008, Kopp Ling was inferior with 47.32 % Scott Price.
