Gairloch

Gairloch ( Scottish Gaelic: Geàrrloch ) is a town on the north west coast of Scotland. The place on the shores of Loch Gairloch is a popular summer tourist destination. It offers swimming and hiking also a golf course and a small museum. Numerous small lakes are popular destinations for trout fishermen. Before Gairlochs coast lies the island Horrisdale. Accessible Gairloch is on the A832.

In Gairloch is the radio station Two Lochs Radio, one of the smallest stations in Scotland. It is operated by the community and sends primarily local news, both English and Gaelic.
