The Gaissa is a left tributary of the Danube in Lower Bavaria.

Its two headwaters hot, just like the not distant Ilz, Large and Small Ohe Ohe, but should not be confused with them. Both sides meet in Aicha vorm Wald to Gaissa, mainly south-easterly direction towards the Danube flows from there. Your mouth is located east of Passau scarf thing or a few kilometers northwest of the city proper Passau. The total length is just over 17 km.

The lower reaches of the water was heavily polluted by the nearby motorway at times, meanwhile, the water quality class has settled in II.
