Gaizka Garitano

Gaizka Garitano Aguirre ( born July 9, 1975 in Bilbao ) is a Spanish footballer who plays in the Spanish Segunda División plays at Real Sociedad.

Playing career

The beginnings

Gaizka Garitano began his career as a footballer in the reserve team of Athletic Bilbao. There he stood from 1992 to 1999 for seven years under contract but has also been borrowed twice. First 1996/1997 to the second division UE Lleida, where he ran aground in 14 games, then at the Basque club SD Eibar, for which he a year in League 2 was also active.

Eibar

In the summer of 1999 Garitano moved definitively to the second division Eibar.
