Gallery called a soft- rock band from Detroit, Michigan, with the hit Nice to Be with You was the early 1970s, international success.

History

The band consisted of Jim Gold ( vocals, guitar), Dennis Korvarik (bass, vocals ), Cal Freeman ( steel guitar ), Bill Nova ( percussion, guitar, vocals ), Brent Anderson ( lead guitar, vocals) and Danny Brucato (drums).

With the gold song written by Nice to Be with You, an easily digestible pop with country flavor, Gallery In spring of 1972 her first and largest hit parade success, and was awarded a gold record. Also in Germany was the song in the charts, as well as the German version, it 's nice to be with you by Michael Holm. Gallery stood by the small record label Sussex under contract, in Germany their records appeared on A & M Records ( Ariola in sales ).

The follow-up single I Believe in Music in the fall of 1972 was a cover version and the original Mac Davis. You as well as the third single Big City Miss Ruth Ann reached the top 30 of the U.S. Billboard charts. From the second LP, 1973, the releases of the band with Gallery featuring Jim Gold were credited. Since the commercial success failed to materialize for the coupled from this album singles, the group ceased its activities and Jim Gold launched a solo career.
