Gammaherpesvirinae
The Gammaherpesvirinae form a subfamily of the virus family Herpesviridae. Due to their specific characteristic in which proliferation in lymphocytes, they stimulate the division, the Gammaherpesvirinae are also referred to as " lymphoproliferative virus group ". Conditioned by this property gamma herpes viruses can trigger malignant diseases with - unlike alpha and beta herpes viruses (eg, EBV: Burkitt 's lymphoma, HHV- 8 Kaposi 's sarcoma ).
