Garnkirk

Garnkirk is a scattered settlement in the Scottish unitary authority of North Lanarkshire. It is just ten kilometers east-northeast of the center of Glasgow and about 23 kilometers south-west of Falkirk. Garnkirk is connected via the nearby motorways M8, M74 and M80 on the road network. The nearest train stations are located in the approximately two kilometers away villages Gartcosh and Stepps. Between 1897 and 1921 was Garnkirk location of the distillery Gart hole that produced grain whiskey.
