Gary Ilman

Gary Ilman ( born August 13, 1943 in Glendale, California ) is a former American swimmer and two-time Olympic champion.

At the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 1964, he won the U.S. squadron twice the gold medal. Both 4 × 100 m freestyle as well as about 4 × 200 m freestyle they could set a new world record. In individual competition over 100m freestyle, he reached the 4th place, after he had set up each new Olympic records in the flow and in the semifinals.

Ilman was also able to win the contest over 4 × 800 m freestyle at the Pan American Games of 1963 with the U.S. season.
