Gary Klein (inventor)

Gary Gordon Klein ( born June 9, 1959) is an American entrepreneur, inventor and designer. He pioneered the bicycle industry and is the founder of Small ( bicycle).

Small Bikes

Gary Klein studied at MIT. The mid-1970s he started a university project and started with two friends road bike frame made of aluminum manufacture. In 1985 he built the first mountain bike KLEIN - the Mountain Post. The next milestone was the 1990 Attitude, which he reinforced with boron Adroit topped again in 1991. His trademark was the frame tubes with above-average diameter, so-called oversized tubes. In 1996 he sold the company to KLEIN Trek. " But bikes were quietly sold under the retail name until around 2009."
