Gary Raymond

Gary Barrymore Raymond ( born April 20, 1935 at the London Borough of Lambeth, England ) is a British film and stage actor.

Biography

Gary Raymond was born as the youngest of twins. His brother Robin Rodney Raymond is 20 minutes older than him. He had an older brother. Her mother died of tuberculosis when Gary and Robin were 9 months old.

You, as the Father, were showmen who had found as gypsies their lifestyle. So it was that Raymond junior thought early on acting. At age 11 he won a scholarship in 1946 for the Gateway School in Leicester where he completed five years later, 1951, the High School.

To be able to keep financially afloat first, Raymond worked as a writer and furriers, and studied with the support of the London city council in his spare time spectacle. Raymond began after he had the financial means to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and in 1953, at the age of 18 years, a member of the renowned Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC ). Here he stood for the first time on stage. Among his better-known plays include Macbeth and Hamlet under others. In the former he even portrayed the title character.

In 1958, Raymond's film debut in Look Back and Anger. Although he was mainly seen in British films, but overtook him also the call from Hollywood. So he stood in 1963 in El Cid and 1965 in The Greatest Story Ever Told in the role of Simon Peter in front of the camera.

As a member of the RSC, he got the early 1960s, the older by three months actress Delena Kidd know, is married to Raymond since 1961, and occasionally standing together in front of the camera, among other things, 2001 in the Victoria & Albert. The couple has three children, son Matthew, and daughters Sophie and Emily.
